Realising that this lodge would be consecrated in the first year of the new Millennium, I tried to think of a name that would reflect that fact without using such an over exposed word. We have become what we are by what has happened in the past and so, as we journey into the new millennium, I thought of that classical journey of ancient times.
That was a journey full of uncertainty and danger, which required determination and resourcefullness to accomplish. To translate this to a modern setting, the lodge is to symbolise Man's journey forward and outward into a wider "universe", a journey that will require the same determination and resourcefulness if it is to be successful.
